Ken Salyer, the general manager of Clear Channel Asheville and a well-known business leader, has been ousted, according to word on the street. Clear Channel operates some of the biggest radio stations in the Asheville market.

Clear Channel/Asheville, NC, VP/Market Manager Ken Salyer exits after overseeing the six-station cluster since August, 2003. Bill McMartin is named to handle MM duties on an interim basis. Previously, Salyer served as General Sales Manager for the local group.
