After reading one of our news round-ups that mentioned a Saluda store window Christmas display that some deemed too bawdy, the store owner e-mailed us. Here it is.
I am the co-owner and creator of The Frozen Clock window display. I am amazed with the attention the window display has gotten. We have had window displays that were out of the ordinary before. Our store is known for being different, it alway has been.
This matter is simply one of those things that has been blown out of proportion in the minds of those that find it offensive (which a considerable number of people find it not even close to offensive). It is alluring to the eye. It is not meant to be taken in a sexual manner unless that is what you want to see. Begging the question- exactly where is our minds during such a holy occasion? Come take pics. We dont mind.
