A quick look back at a few highlights of Jack White’s visit to Asheville on Saturday:
-He dined at The Admiral in West Asheville:
–Citizen-Times photo gallery from the show.
-He almost took an electric bike tour:
-Rob Jones created a cool poster for the White show, in which Alabama Shakes opened.
-All of the new CD, Blunderbuss, streaming on YouTube:
-Looks like lucky fan Shelton Drum bumped into the Alabama Shakes & got autographs.
-Sort-of score: Shelton got busted but managed to take this headless snap of Jack. And also this one of his manager introducing the show:
-And this one of Shakes singer Brittany Howard.
–Report of tickets going for hundreds of dollars. Had a guy tell me he saw that a ticket sold for $815 at Craigslist.
-Tweeter says Jack White brought 2 tour buses and two semis.
-Jack White (with all-woman band, The Peacocks) playing an encore at the Hangout Festival on Friday. Same ice-blue lighting. The all-woman band is The Peacocks, the men are The Buzzards.
Special thanks to Jen at Blog Asheville for rounding this up!
