Some tidbits from the past couple of days:
The Rev. Billy Graham is still in the hospital… It’s still hot and dry. There are voluntary water use restrictions in Hendersonville, and mandatory restrictions in place down in Tryon in Polk County… Diva Darcel doesn’t like bats… The Hot Shot Cafe is closing… The police have identified suspects in the recent shooting at the Stephens-Lee center that left three injured… And the bridge on Bridge Street in Canton is going to be replaced, and the work is going to cause a lot of traffic headaches.
