Loyal reader Sara wants you to know that the Asheville Affiliates stands ready to help. This is an energized, connected group – take advantage of them:

The Asheville Affiliates is now accepting applications from Asheville area nonprofit organizations to host one of several fundraising events in the coming months. Applications can be found online at www.asffiliatesofasheville.com. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 2nd.

Past nonprofit benefactors include the Moog Foundation, Asheville Parks & Greenways, Riverlink and The Junior League of Asheville.

“The Asheville Affiliates have helped dozens of local nonprofits over the last decade” says Jonathan Frappier, Asheville Affiliates board president. “The 2008 board is committed to continuing this
support in the community this year. Look for some exciting new changes taking place as well.”

The 2008 Asheville Affiliates board includes; Jonathan Frappier, president, Sara Shuster, vice-president, Jessica Hunter, secretary, Robyn Bacon, Julie Bradley, Martha Evans, Gene Felice, Sara Fields, Kitty Price, Blake Smith, Lauren Williams and Chad Donnahoo, advisory board member.

The Asheville Affiliates are 3000+ young professionals invited to attend annual fundraising events hosted by and supporting Asheville area non-profit organizations.
