Did you guys see Mike Bettis holding it down on the Weather Channel over the weekend as he reported on Hurricane Dennis? Mike did a good job. He didn’t get too crazy trying to stand out in the whipping wind, although the whole holding-down-the-hat thing was a bit overly dramatic on Saturday.
For the most part, he just reported the story.
He got a little off track, telling us how great cellphones are, but other than that, Mike did a great job. We sure do miss him here. The local TV weather readers could really use his expertise.
