Gas Crunch Update at 7 p.m. Tuesday night

Here’s who has gas:

The Hess on Hendersonville Road, which has consistently had gas, has gas tonight, but the traffic trying to get in and out of the station is total gridlock. Cars are everywhere

CitiStop in Biltmore has gas, with about 20 cars lined up in either direction.

The Enmark just a mile or so down Leicester Highway from Patton Avenue is in total gridlock. Cars coming from Patton are blocking one lane of Leicester Highway, and probably lined 50 deep. Cars coming from the west are lined up in the turn lane on Leicester, and are probably lined up 30 deep.

The pandemonium at the pumps continues.

This is why blogs aren’t really news. "Facts" aren’t double checked, just spouted off like kids repeating rumors.
I’ll never be back.

No one was shot or even shot at in this area.

Two people were shot to death in Chicago and Pittsburgh in the past 2 days at gas stations, but neither (as far as I’ve read) was related to gas shortages.

This town stirs more rumors than Area 51.

Just got gas from the Hess on Hendersonville Road. We waited in traffic for 3 hours. There is no limit on how much you can get. The attendant told me that he had pumped 12,000 gallons just today.

Rumor has it that Buncombe County Schools will close on Friday because of the gas shortage.

The Enmark on Merrimon had gas this evening. When I drove past at 6, there were cars backed up about a quarter of a mile–all the way to Staples. Then there was another line down Broadway that wrapped around the highway entrance onto Merrimon. Cra-zee!
