It’s back! The bizarre-yet-popular tour of unfortunate VHS footage delivered with MST3K attitude returns.
From the Citizen-Times:
“We dig through thrift stores and garage sales all across the country looking for exercise videos, training videos, promotional videos and home movies, then serve up the highlights,” Prueher said. The format is basically a 90-minute live show, with the pair’s running commentary throughout. “I think people find something uncomfortably familiar about a lot of our videos. … It’s fun to be able to watch those gems on a big screen with a bunch of people who are there to laugh. It can be a really cathartic experience.”
To date, that experience has been collected on six DVDs. Prueher’s favorite clip, “Magical Rainbow Sponge,” depicting a nearly-psychotic exploration of DIY crafting with sponges, opens the show Wednesday night at The Grey Eagle.
“We can promise that people will see things they cannot see anywhere else at the show, including a woman giving tips on how to massage a pet opossum,” he said. “That’s not a euphemism; it’s an actual instructional video on opossum massage. Suffice it to say, this show will be something you’ll be talking about for a long time.”

Best and biggest show yet. Thanks everybody!
On a school night? My ticket and the Grey Eagle site both say 8pm. What gives? What time do doors open?
I’d call the Greagle to be sure.
FYI, the show starts at 9, not eight. The boys either want their beauty sleep, or party more.
Thanks Marc!
