Here’s a first look at renderings for the large mixed-use development project proposed for the site of Fuddrucker’s restaurant at the corner of Chestnut and Charlotte streets in Asheville.
Plans call for about 200 apartments, as well as ground-level retail. There are green building elements to the construction, and a number of units will be set aside and rented as “affordable,” according to the president of the Grove Park Sunset Mountain Neighborhood Association, who recently alerted the neighborhood to the development. I have yet to see a set of formal plans submitted to city planners.

looks ugly
Jason, these are already out of date. They were presented to the Charlotte Street business group who gave some feedback, and many things have changed, and no one has seen the new plans according to the Kassinger Company.
