Looks like a fantastic project. Note here from loyal reader Cinnamon:

Hi Jason,

Everybody I know has told me I should reach out to your blog. I guess everybody reads it!

The Farmers Film is a film/video project about four local farmers, and the high points and low points of being a small farmer in WNC. It is unique in the filmmaking world because the farmers themselves are doing all the filming. They started in July and will film through November. It will broadcast on USAToday.com and we’re talking to some tv outlets too. We’re so proud of their work, and of the coalition of sponsors who are coming together behind the project.

Our 12 (so far) weekly “webisodes” can be found on www.farmersfilm.com. If you like the project, please encourage your readers to follow “farmers film” on facebook, or to check the site regularly – there’s always new footage going up. It’s really honest and compelling material, and a good way to meet some people who grow the food that many of us eat! New videos follow every monday evening.

Here is our latest webisode (it’s a pretty cool one because among other things it features a lamb being born).

Thanks for the blog. I’ve learned a lot from it already!
