From Mackensy Lunsford at EatScene on Livi’s Pantry opening in Woodfin:

Livi’s Pantry, a 2,200-square-foot natural foods market, will open early next year in Woodfin at the Lofts at Reynolds Village.

Missy Miller, former co-owner of Luella’s Bar-B-Que (a Merrimon Avenue restaurant named after her eldest daughter), is the sole owner of the business. Named after her youngest daughter Olivia, Livi’s Pantry is the answer to one of Miller’s long-held dreams. “Other things in life have taken me in different directions, but this year I’ve had the chance to do it,” she said.

Gosh Crunchy Momma, I was just thinking how cool it will be to have a locally owned natural store on the North side. I for one am excited to have an alternative to Earth Fare and Greenlife especially keeping my dollars in my community. Please….no lottery and cigs! Lets hear it for Kale!!!

It’s a sad state of affairs up at the lofts. From planned condos to luxury rentals to welfare. Take a look at who’s renting those units…it’s a snapshot of woodfins finest. Good luck but keep your prices low, sell lottery tickets and cigarettes. It’s woodfin after all.
