Dunk Carl Mumpower Day

Share

Ever wanted, deep down, to send Ashvegas City Councilman Carl Mumpower into the deep? Think about that for a minute. Imagine his soft yet needling therapist voice. Those glasses balanced precariously on the tip of his nose. Recall his endless power points on illegal immigrants and the open air drug markets in town. Does he force you into uncontrollable ovarian spasms at council meetings?

Well, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at French Broad River Park, you’ll have your chance for a little therapy of your own. Mumpower will be in a dunking booth.

The Rockin’ River Fest is co-sponsored by Buncombe County Parks & Recreation, WOXL and RiverLink. You can try and dunk Mumpower and raise money for RiverLink at the same time.

Call Dennis Toon at 684-5072 for race entry fee and general information or emaildennis.toon@buncombecounty.org.

Good for Mumpower.

Nice to see a council member that can actually poke fun at himself like that.

And while his drug policies and immigration ideas fly against my own, at leas he ACTUALLY DOES SOMETHING.

I’ve seen Mayor Bellamy and the rest of those clowns just call for study after study after study, costing hundred’s of thousand’s in taxpayer money.

Mumpower at least gets off his butt and does something about his ideas.

Now…if only they were GOOD ideas…

Not deep enough.
Or long enough down.
