The new Cinebarre movie theaters at the Biltmore Square Mall on Sunday brought back a classic – the drive-in movie. A couple hundred people showed up on Labor Day Sunday for a free showing of the classic “9 to 5” starring Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda and Dabney Coleman.
After a few minor technical difficulties, the movie rolled and everybody seemed to be having fun. There was beer and wine for sale. And barbecue. And cupcakes. And people in lawn chairs and in their cars and on blankets. All good fun.
Cinebarre says it’s going to make this a regular thing. Stay tuned, and check it out.
