WLOSer Pat “Simple” Simon had a little report on Friday that everybody should be aware of – daylight-savings time is starting early this year, and you need to be sure you reset your computer calendars and all.
Daylight-savings time starts on March 11 this year, which isn’t far off at all. It ends on Nov. 4. Congress made the changes as part of a move to help conserve electricity by extending daylight-savings time for a few weeks.
The problem is that computers, cell phones, VCRS, microwave oven clocks and such need to be manually reset. So you’ve been warned.

I had no idea it was moved up that far. Hooray! If you’re on a Windows computer, you can run Windows Update to acquire a patch that will update your PC clock with the new dates.
