Cosby Show’s Sabrina Le Beauf to speak in Asheville Friday

Sabrina Le Beauf, now 54, best known as her role as Sondra Huxtable on The Cosby Show, seems to have been quietly living in Asheville for some time.  A Yale School of Drama grad and former E! Style host, she’s presenting at  the New York Studio for Stage & Screen on Riverside Drive this Friday.

The event is free, but tickets are limited and registration is required. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served:

“NYS3 PRESENTS” is a free, ongoing, salon-style talk series that welcomes the greater WNC community to attend a talk given by a leader in the world of Arts, Media or Entertainment.

The talk will take place on Friday, February 22nd at 7:00 PM.

After graduating from the Yale School of Drama, Le Beauf was cast as the beloved eldest daughter, Sondra Huxtable, on The Cosby Show. Le Beauf has made a career out of acting for television and stage, with television credits that include: the voice of Norma Bindlebeep on the Nick@Nite animated series Fatherhood, the host of In Your Own Backyard, the host for E! Style Television’s Homes With Style, and the east coast correspondent/host for the Oregon Public Television series Smart Gardening. Her extensive and prestigious theater credits include numerous lead roles in theaters around the country and abroad, including The Shakespeare Theater in Washington, DC and the Royal Shakespeare Company in England.
