From the Tuckasegee Reader:

Charles Frazier, mountain native and author of the National Book Award-winning “Cold Mountain”, will release his third novel this fall, according to his publisher.

The Random House Publishing Group announced Tuesday that “Nightwoods” will be released in October.

The AP reports that the novel takes place in rural North Carolina in the 1950s and tells of a young woman who cares for her murdered sister’s twins.

Can’t wait to learn more about this novel.

Hi:

I own the farm where "Will Cooper" aka Will Thomas lived, and need to get in touch with Charles Frazier. Can you help me?

My name is Matthew Hall and I am doing a research paper for my English class and I needed to ask you a question about your book "Cold Mountian". How does your southern heritage reveal itself through your writing? Thanks.

I am one of the few who liked 13 Moons better than Cold Mountain. It was probably a factor in moving to the area. Looking forward to this one.
