The Carolina Chocolate Drops appeared live on North Carolina NPR member station WNCW today in advance of tonight’s tour stop at The Handlebar in Greenville, South Carolina. While there, the trio performed a few songs their Nonesuch debut album, Genuine Negro Jig, and shared some exciting news: for six dates over one week this December, the Carolina Chocolate Drops will tour with label mates The Low Anthem.
The tour will begin December 4 at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, followed by stops in Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee, before heading to the Chocolate Drops’ home state of North Carolina for shows in Asheville, Charlotte, and Raleigh.
