UNC Asheville’s award-winning North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement is seeking local experts to lead summer workshops. Proposals should focus on a short-term, hands-on learning opportunities for students of all ages. Previous courses have examined computer software, how to buy and use a digital camera, sewing, creating botanical block prints, oil and watercolor painting and stone carving. Deadline to submit workshop proposals is Monday, Jan. 25.
