Wild South’s Roosevelt-Ashe Society invites nominations for its Fourth Annual Roosevelt-Ashe Society Conservation Awards. On March 23, 2012, six individuals and one business will be recognized for their Outstanding Contributions to environmental conservation in the South. The Awards will be presented at The 2012 Green-Tie Gala in Asheville, NC, which hosts environmental leaders from across the South to celebrate and recognize exceptional work in conservation. Awards are given in each of 7 categories:

Outstanding Journalist -Outstanding Youth -Outstanding Educator-Outstanding Business
Outstanding Philanthropist – Outstanding Conservationist – Outstanding Volunteer
Wild South’s Roosevelt-Ashe Society is a select group of individuals and businesses committed to the protection of the South’s wild places. The Society hosts the Awards, lending support to Conservation Leaders in the South. Nominations are reviewed by a Selection Committee comprised of environmental superstars!
