This year’s event marks the fifth annual {Re}HAPPENING – a fundraising event for both
Black Mountain College Museum + Art Center and The Media Arts Project. The evening
re-imagines Black Mountain College’s tradition of Saturday night parties and
performances and honors the dynamic energy and groundbreaking innovations of the
artists of the historic Black Mountain College. Meanwhile, the event launches a
contemporary platform for artists and patrons to experience adventurous art and
creativity in the present day. More than eighty artists from our region’s diverse creative
community will come together to create and share art and on the grounds of the original
campus and in the spirit of Black Mountain College.
