We spotted the latest addition to the WLOSer team Friday night. Jeremy Butterfield, who looked all of about 16. Think he was down in Polk County covering a story or something.
This has been quite a hiring spree at WLOS. Edward “MacDaddy” McDonald, Pat “Simple” Simon, Kassandra “Special K” Pride, Terrie Foster and now Butterfield. Is that everyone? And that’s just on-air people. Who knows who else has been added behind the scenes.
Back to Butterfield. Butterfield comes from WDBJ News Channel 7, a CBS affiliate covering the Roanoke-Lynchburg market up in Virginia.

Jeremy Butterfield is a native of Winchester Virginia, and graduated from Radford University with a Broadcast Journalism degree, in the Spring of 2004. After graduation, Jeremy served as an intern at News-7, and officially joined the news crew as an associate producer that summer. In the fall, Jeremy took over as the Weekend Reporter.
Jeremy is married, and attributes his decision to get into the news business to his wife Cindy. Jeremy’s “children,” an unruly dog named Reasy, and a playful ferret named Willy, keep him busy at home. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys going to the gym, getting in some rounds of disc golf, and agonizing over the last Chicago Bears defeat during football season.

ahem. mehthinks your noggin is in the gutter. you see i have this field here behind this house i’m stayin’ in. i was a’hankerin’ for sleddin’ & it’s only October. so i thought perhaps Butterfield could deliver the goods. the BUTTER. for the sledding. in the FIELD. not my field. not his butter. that is gross.
