Building wall repaired at new Farm Burger restaurant after damage

Mackensy Lunsford blogs it at EatScene. She reports there was a problem with renovation work at the historic Leder Building, where the new Farm Burger restaurant is coming together:

From an email from George Frangos, owner of Farm Burger:

“About two weeks ago, two days before we were scheduled for our CO, the alley between Salsas and us was being worked on. The resulting vibration caused an interior wall to collapse. It is all repaired now, and passed city inspection. But now we need a few days to clean up the mess and train the staff. We are hoping to be having our doors open next week.”

That’s a picture of the wall above, via Frangos.

Yikes! Thank goodness we didn’t have a building collapse like that one earlier this year along Carolina Lane.

It’s a good business run by good folks. I am not a fan of chains, but, these guys care about what they do & the product they serve. I’m glad to have them in town….
PS. Have you eaten at Juicy Lucy’s? Worst crap I’ve had in years.
