Sources are telling us that Mediacom and Sinclair have reached an agreement that puts WLOS back on the air on Mediacom cable systems in Western North Carolina – that’s some 28,000 customers in several mountain counties.
So are y’all happy to have WLOSers back in your living room???

It was quite shocking to have WLOS back on the TEEVEE. We FINALLY got our rabbit ears on WED and grew accustom to a better picture quality.
I know you Ashvegas was heartbroken to hear the news of WLOS back on Mediacom because that means less hits on your site, lol.
The circus left town but the clowns are still there.
No way Ron… they are strictly Dow Jones News Service, which predated Prodigy and Compuserve.
Hell, if this web thing takes off, they might just make some software for the 386!
Proably only available for Prodigy subscribers. (Anyone else remember Prodigy?)
WLOS new website to debut some time next week.
Yeah, I spotted a Mr. Gattie’s instead of Mr. Gatti’s in the very first story at 11.
Way to welcome back the viewers.
mish and ron, you guys are high-larious!
lightnin’, now you know.
Maybe they’ll fill us in on everything we missed the last 26 days. What’s that? We didn’t miss anything? Sounds about right.
If WLOS is the light, sometimes it’s better just to wander in the damn darkness. Aaaargh!
Y’know what else? It’s like we’re being let back in on the joke.
You should have heard the sound of anguish Ron just gave from the other room when he saw Diva Darcell.
And then he walked in the room and immediately spotted a typo. Ah, WLOS, how we’ve missed you…
Good lookin’ out, money.
=WL=
7:23 pm. They’re back. It’s like having an obnoxious co-worker return from a month=long vacation.
Not so much the news (aside from the local aspect of it; watching SC news made me feel like I’d up & moved). But trying to watch "Grey’s Anatomy" on a teeny tiny window on the computer sucked.
I’ve never been more depressed in my life.
