Blind Pig’s plans for the rest of 2012: Fire & Chocolate, Beatles, dinner for the end of the world

Blind Pig Supper Club fans, check out what’s coming up Aug.-Dec., including a second Fire & Chocolate dinner (this time with an African theme), a dinner that interprets the Beatles movie “Yellow Submarine,” and “Baktun,” a blowout end-of-the-world dinner in celebration of the end of the Mayan calendar.

Blind Pig organizers are also creating, in conjunction with The Heritage Foods Committee of Asheville, a documentary about the past and future of farming and sharing food in Southern Appalachia. The movie, called “Preserve,” will also include John Fleer of Canyon Kitchens.

This pig is on fire. Looks like quite a year ahead.
