It’s three days of beer nirvana as Sierra Nevada visits nine local breweries over Moogfest weekend, bringing a traveling release of the two brews made by local brewers during a visit to their Chico, Ca. HQ.

Each brewery will serve either The Headliner (a filtered red wheatwine) or Carolina Dreamin’ (a toasty black ale).

From the Asheville Beer Guy (Citizen-Times writer Tony Kiss) on Facebook:

Sierra Nevada is planing a three-day beer bash in asheville Oct. 25-27 to officially release the Beer Camp brews made by local brewers during their visit earlier this year to Sierra’s west coast operation in Chico, Calif.

On Oct. 25 they will be at Thirsty Monk, French Broad, Southern Appalachian Brewery in Hendersonville and Asheville Brewing. On Oct. 26, they visit Green Man, Highland, Catawba Valley in Morganton, Pisgah and Lexington Avenue Brewery. They finish on Oct. 27 the party goes to Oysterhouse, Heinzelmannchen in Sylva, Nantahala in Bryson City, Craggie and Wedge.
Each brewery will receive either The Headliner (a black ale) or Carolina Dreaminig (a red wheat wine), depending on which beer they worked on in Chico. This is going to be fun.
