Beer from Asheville’s Green Man Brewing makes special appearance in ‘East Bound and Down’

Beer from Asheville’s Green Man Brewing apparently got some sweet product placement in the season premiere of HBO’s Eastbound and Down. From a Beer Advocate commentor:

So I was just watching the season premier of Eastbound and Down on HBO, And Kenny Powers and several other people at the dinner table were drinking Green Man (of Asheville) 12 oz. bottles of what looked like ESB.

How cool is that? If Kenny Powers drinks it, it must kick more ass than any beer ever, period.

Why does his arm look so small? It reminds me of that character Kristin Wiig played on SNL. Is it photoshopped or is it part of the show? Something don’t look right ….
