Starting Monday, you can get Beer City tickets for $40 at all of the local breweries, plus the Bruisin’ Ales store on Broadway and Barley’s on Biltmore Avenue. Sales will run through April 8, then resume online April 15 for $45 at the Brewgrass web site (http://brewgrassfestival.com/). At the moment, that site still has information about last year’s Brewgrass party.
This is the first time Beer City tickets have been made available online. It should greatly increase sales and expand the festival’s reach said Mike Rangel, president of Asheville Brewing. Ticket sales are limited to 2,300.
The festival is jointly owned by both the Brewgrass organizers and the non profit Asheville Brewers Alliance (an organization representing the local breweries).
