The inaugural Baseball and Beer event was held at McCormick Field on Saturday. It was a good event, with about 1,500 people coming out to sample some of the 65 beers on tap around historic McCormick Field. The local music line-up kicked ass — Kellin Watson, Jar-E, Firecracker Jazz Band and Woody Wood and his band — and much fun was had by all. Looks like this might be another regular event on the Asheville beer calendar. That’s why they call us Beer City USA.
