Exciting news here from loyal reader Kathleen:

Hi, AshVegas,

I wanted to share our exciting news with you and your readers: We’re opening a store! The i play. store will open in mid-September at 233 Liberty Street, Asheville, NC 28801 (off of Chestnut and Charlotte in the North Asheville neighborhood). It will feature our two brands for babies from birth up to 4 years—i play.® swimwear and apparel, and green sprouts® feeding products, toys, and baby care (view our catalog of products on our website.)

We’re really excited about opening it and connecting to local parents in our community. Up until this point, our products have been available, locally, in Greenlife, Earth Fare, French Broad Co-op, and Cherry Street Kids in Black Mountain. Please see the attached press release for more information. A link to a map of the store is here  and we’re excited to host a schedule of special events out of the space.

As you may know, i play., Inc. is a local mother-daughter owned company, and this year marks our 30th anniversary. I’ve attached a picture of the founder and president, Becky Cannon, and her daughter and vice president of the company, Emi Kubota.

As a special announcement, we’re holding a Sample Sale on Friday, Sept. 7, from 8 am to 3 pm at our Woodfin headquarters on 2000 Riverside Drive, Suite 9, 28804. It’s a chance to snag i play. and green sprouts products for up to 75% off retail! I’m attaching a poster that highlights this event—people go crazy for it, and it’s a rare opportunity to stock up on baby essentials, baby showers gifts, or presents for expectant or new parents at mega-discounts.

If you have any questions on anything, please let me know. In my signature line you’ll also find links to our Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts. Lots of exciting things going on here at i play.

Thanks so much and have a great weekend.

My best,

Kathleen
