AVL Food Fans Podcast Episode 4 – “Coffee, cigarettes, and body odor”

Hello Asheville!

Ermergerd, so busy. Too busy to write much, sorry. I’ve been eating out just as often as ever, but have only had time to post pictures on Instagram, Twitter, and FaceBook, and haven’t had time to write for Ashvegas in a couple of weeks.
Busy doing what, you lazy sack of shit?
Wellll…  busy slingin’ hot dogs every Friday night at The Clingman Cafe. Busy putting out the world’s greatest free paper just for children, Asheville Flyer for Kids. Busy dressing-up like a Whistlepig and harassing people on the streets of Asheville. And too also… Busy hanging out with my buddy, Chef Joe Scully, doing our awesome podcast, AVL Food Fans!  Doing this podcast is my fave new thing EVER!
Joe is really fun to talk to, and he always says the funniest shit.
The 4th episode of AVL Food Fans is now available for listening to with the player below, or by going to www.avlfoodfans.com where you can download it. It is also available for free from the iTunes store.

Ox Tail Soup

We mention King James Public House and The Junction during this segment.

Thanks to Chestnut and The Corner Kitchen for sponsoring the show, Matt Johnson from ZaPow Productions for producing the show, and to The Derita Sisters for allowing us to use their song “Cheese Wagon” as our theme.

Stu Helm is an artist and writer living in Asheville, NC, and a frequent diner at local restaurants, cafes, food trucks, and the like. His tastes run from hot dogs and mac ‘n’ cheese, to haute cuisine, and his opinions are based on a lifetime of eating out. He began writing about food strictly to amuse his friends on Facebook.

It’s actually very complicated in this full of activity life to listen news on Television, therefore I just use the web for that purpose,
and take the hottest news.

OOOOOOH August 3, 2015 - 4:31 pm
