Check out samples from 50 of Asheville’s most well-known independent restaurants at the annual Taste of Asheville event on Nov. 21 at The Venue in downtown. Tickets range from $75 to $100 per person.
The Asheville Independent Restaurant Association hosts the event, now in its 11th year. Award-winning local chefs and homegrown favorites will all be on display. In addition, AIR will raffle off a giant goodie basket filled with more than $1,000 in gifts, including a collection of autographed cookbooks that feature AIR restaurants, tickets to Chow Chow 2020, a pair of AVL Food Fan food tour tickets, as well as gifts from Spicewalla, Asheville Tea Company, East Fork Pottery and much more.
The food this year will be accompanied by tunes from JBOT (Josh Blake Organ Trio) and the Free Champagne band.
