Hello folks. This is just a quick note to say that I’m unplugging. It’s time for me to spend a few days away from computers and emails and such. I probably won’t be able to stay away completely, but I definitely won’t be as connected as I usually am.
I want to thank all you loyal readers for creating an exciting community of readers, commenters and contributers here at Ashvegas. Your presence, your ideas, your readership make this thing go. I can’t thank you enough.
2010 was a sometimes difficult, often amazing, year of growth and change for me. I’m glad for it, and glad it’s gone.
I owe a giant, heartfelt debt of gratitude to everyone who showed me the meaning of true friendship, love and kindness this past year. To those of you who showed otherwise, I’ve learned from that, too.
Now it’s time to move forward. Enjoy yourselves, and catch me up upon my return Jan. 10.

welcome back, hope you had some great down time…don't burn out your first week back ! 🙂
Your site is awesome and you've earned a long techno break for sure. Hope you enjoy it, get some good fun and lots of laughs in there.
Love the site, happy new year.
Enjoy your vacation, Jason. 2011 is a new page.
Good for you!
Perhaps you should take a permanent vacation and end this crappy blog. I've read better material in Timbuk Tu in a men's retroom. Narcissitic dipshit hipster tripe is what this blog is.
Thanks for keeping such a cool head on your neck. I learn so much from your specs. Keep taking pics and enjoy your eyes.
hey have a wonderful time off
enjoy your quiet time, you've earned it.
Happy new years! Thanks for keeping this great site up and current for all of us. I sure do appreciate it.
Hey Jason,
Do not read this message until 1/11/11. Ooh, that's a good day to come back to us!
I'm headed to Costa Rica for two weeks at the end of the month- can't wait to disconnect from technology for that long. Here's wishing you a healthy, happy time while you're away and the best year yet!
Take care,
Jonathan Frappier
Jason, Have a great week away . . .
Happy New Year!
