Ashvegas reader: What’s happening on Long Shoals Road?

Loyal reader Eric asks for rumor control on the following:

Need some rumor control:
1) Ok, at the corner of Clayton Road and Long Shoals Road, is apartments going in or a second location for Sunshine Chevrolet?

2) I heard Mission Hospital has bought the old Riverside Restaurant location and property at the corner of Ledbetter Road and Long Shoals, any truth to that.

Anyone?

Seems a little off the beaten path for a car dealership and a bit of an eye sore for the church. That is if it is true.

I have heard speculation of either Cabelas or an expansion of Biltmore Baptist.
