Hey there,
I thought I’d mention that there has been a fair amount of trash pickup/land clearing going on along Broadway between the Eblen Short Stop and Magnolia Ave in the past few weeks. The gas station attendant said that Parks and Rec is expanding the trail/greenway towards downtown.
This is an exciting development because in the past there have been a bunch of homeless camps just out of sight of Broadway that were treated very poorly by users. There are about 60 bags of trash that were removed from those camps. Eventually this trail should connect to the WT Weaver greenway.
Just wanted to pass on some good news.
