Discovery Montessori School has just opened in Nettlewood Park in South Asheville. “We strive to feel like a home-away-from-home for your child, bridging that gap between the home and school life. To us, each child is unique with their own learning style. Discovery Montessori School engages every child at their level, helping them develop at their individual pace,” says the website.

Sky Zone Asheville, a trampoline park in South Asheville, is coming soon. Still don’t have a location.

MTN Merch, a new store in Biltmore Village, will host its grand opening celebration on July Fourth weekend, but doors will be open to the public this Friday at 10:30am.

-A new furniture store called The Asheville House is opening in Black Mountain. Whatever works.

WordCamp returns to Asheville in July. It will be held at UNC Asheville’s Highsmith Student Union from July 25-26, with an optional Beginner’s Day on July 24th. “This year we’re really going for fostering connection between our attendees, sponsors, and speakers, and we’re excited that our venue is going to allow us a great space for folks to network,” says organizer Lydia Roberts.

French Broad Food Co-op celebrated its 40th anniversary on Sunday and members talked about expansion plans, according to Robyn, who attended and wrote about the event at rainbowweaves.blogspot.com.

Expect excellent tequila and mezcal cocktails, and awesome latin fare like empanadas, tamales, tacos, and the like. There is an address right on the website you linked to! The empty lot at this address is probably a good bet.
