Ashvegas celebrity spotting: ‘Friday Night Lights’ star Aimee Teegarden at Horse + Hero

Share

Aimee Teegarden, who played Julie Taylor on the NBC hit TV show Friday Night Lights, was spotted at Horse + Hero in downtown Asheville. The shop, which is approaching its one-year anniversary, is the work of Justin Rabuck and Brandy Bourne, the founders of the ever popular Big Crafty. The shop features the work of local independent artists.

Teegarden also starred in Scream 4 and Prom, according to wiki. Anyone know who Aimee’s friend is?

Who cares? Quit being starstruck. People are people. Let them be.

I think this is more a FYI to locals saying, hey look, famous people are here. I actually like knowing that. I don’t think this is to point them out so people can jump up from their computers and rush downtown to get an autograph – or to bother them in anyway possible.

This isn’t TMZ and I don’t think anyone is a paparazzi scouring the streets for celebs, but if a store owner, or passerby happens to snap a pic, or just mention that they saw a celeb, that’s totally ok, and not being starstruck. Just cool to know, and how ‘hip’ Asheville is or isn’t.

You know, I’m a born and raised local, and Avl has changed a whole lot in my time, but it’s still a little cool and giddy of me *(sometimes) to just see what was once a “where you from” to a “oh, I here that place is awesome” type of change.

Well put. Every time Ashvegas does something about celebrity sightings or movies being made here, there always has to be some sourpuss saying “who cares?” or its equivalent. Who cares that they don’t care?
