Actor Channing Tatum stopped at a gas station in Statesville on Tuesday and posed for pictures while chatting up the store clerk, who he danced with in a video that’s gone viral.
Movie star Channing Tatum, best known for movies such as Magic Mike and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, was spotted in Asheville on Wednesday.
Tatum stopped at the Ingles gas station on Tunnel Road about 2:30 p.m., according to social media posts.
Tatum has been in North Carolina promoting his new movie, Lucky Logan. The heist flick follows Jimmy Logan (played by Tatum), a down-on-his-luck West Virginian who plans to steal millions from Charlotte Motor Speedway. The movie, directed by Steven Soderbergh, also stars Adam Driver, Daniel Craig, Seth MacFarlane, Riley Keough, Katie Holmes, Hilary Swank and more.
Tatum visited the speedway earlier this week, then hit the road. He stopped at a truck stop in Greensboro. At a gas station in Statesville, he chatted with the local cashier and danced with her in a video that’s gone viral.
