Asheville’s Mad Tea Party and its ‘Zombie Boogie’ gets Boing Boing mention

Share

One of the coolest bands in Asheville, the Mad Tea Party, got a great mention and link over at Boing Boing. Check it out.

The post notes that Mad Tea Party has released a little seven-inch vinyl disc called Zombie Boogie, which includes four great Halloween tunes done in their unique ukulele-fueled rockabilly style. You can listen, and download, here.

If you’ve read this far, here’s your bonus — I’ll give you a copy of the vinyl record, which comes wrapped in the zombie poster (seen above) made by Hand-Cranked letterpress, if you answer a question. (Jason of the band does the letterpress work.)

In the comments section of this post, tell me the name of George A. Romero’s 1968 black-and-white zombie classic, and you’ll win the record.
