Press release here:
Alliance AutoGas answers to all of those demands with a solution that can be implemented right away – in fact, the solution is already working from Detroit to Denver to Washington, D.C.
Alliance AutoGas converts vehicles from gasoline to clean-burning propane AutoGas, implements refueling sites at fleet home bases, supplies the fuel and provides safety training, operational training and ongoing technical support. It’s a truly turn-key solution that has fleet managers across the country committing to use a clean, domestically produced alternative fuel that is here now.
Alliance AutoGas was formed by founding partners American Alternative Fuel and Blossman Gas, Inc. to bring America’s vehicle fleets an integrated chain of clean vehicle conversion, fueling and support.
Propane AutoGas is the third most common vehicle fuel in the U.S. (after gasoline and diesel) and is the world’s most widely used alternative vehicle fuel, with over 10-million AutoGas vehicles worldwide. A test on a 2008 Honda Accord comparing emissions when burning gasoline to emissions when using the Prins VSI System (the AutoGas Hybrid conversion system used by Alliance AutoGas) revealed significant reductions in harmful emissions, specifically a 28% reduction in Carbon Monoxide, a 35.6% reduction in Hydrocarbons, a 3.7% reduction in NOx and a 16% reduction in CO2.
The price of AutoGas is historically much more stable and typically much less expensive than the price of gasoline. To enhance the cost savings, Alliance AutoGas passes the 50-cent per gallon federal tax credit to private fleet customers at the time of invoice, so they never have to apply for the credit themselves.
