Oh my. According to Mackensy Lunsford and Asheville Scene, Lexington Avenue Brewery Executive Chef Jason Roy has found a home for his new restaurant concept, Biscuit Head. Biscuit Head will move to the space formerly occupied by Tolliver’s Crossing, which is moving to Asheville’s up-and-coming South Slope area south of downtown.

Roy calls his new venture a “gourmet, brunch-style biscuit cafe.” Besides biscuits, the beverage program will receive special attention, he said. Biscuit Head will have a selection homemade sodas, smoothies and juices and creative champagne cocktails and local beers.
Everything on the menu, from breakfast to dessert, will have a biscuit base, with several options available. “We’re trying to nail down a gluten-free biscuit, a regular biscuit, whole wheat biscuit and a biscuit of the day, every day,” he said. The most unique feature, according to Roy, will be the jam bar.
