Asheville Running Tours: Beer, wine, cupcakes on stops for new local tour business

Comedy bus tours, food tours, walking tours, haunted tours… It had to happen. Local women Marty Harwood-Edes and Shannon Worley run Asheville Runing Tours (ART), a company offering a selection of local running tours and a “wine waddle“–a one-mile walk with chocolate and wine tasting.

Tour offerings include:

The Asheville Booty Buster
A certified personal trainer will put you through your paces with bootcamp style exercises done in an outdoor setting – interspersed with running. It’s the best of both worlds – cardio and strength training combined with seeing one of North Carolina’s most active cities! Tour runs about an hour.

The Original Asheville Beer Run
The Original Asheville Beer Run starts at one of our local breweries in the historic Asheville, NC and will wind through Downtown, passing all 5 (yes 5!) micro & nano breweries along the way. Stop for a tasting or two, and arrive back at your starting location in about an hour.

The Sweet Asheville Running Tour
Enjoy a run through downtown Asheville’s beautiful tree-lined streets and be rewarded with samples of home-made ice cream, gourmet chocolate, cakes and cookies!
