Asheville release party Friday for Dale’s Pale Ale in stovepipe cans

You don’t have to go all the way to Brevard to party with Oskar Blues: From the folks at Oskar Blues Brewery Southeast, a release party for the new Brevard-brewed “stovepipe” 19.2-oz. British imperial pint cans of Dales’ Pale Ale.

Free pint glasses, stovepipe coozies, food and a comedy mic show. 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Bar of Soap on Merrimon Avenue:

We’re throwing a release party for the 19.2 Dale’s Stovepipe cans at The Bar of Soap from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, February 1. These are the cans that say Brevard, NC and contain Brevard-brewed beer. These imperial pint cans are rolling out across the state of North Carolina for the first time this week! Brevard pint glasses to the first 25 people to buy an 19.2 DPA. Plus we’ll have “stovepipe” coozies. DelVecchio’s will offer food, and there will be a comedy open mic show at 8 p.m. Loads of fun!

Awesome. A beer release party at a laundromat. Sounds like a blast.

I thought the same thing.

Assuming you’ve never been there? As a laundromat, the Bar of Soap is a pretty decent neighborhood drinking hole. Smallish but it has its charm.

Maybe you should stay home and wash your cat with another Bud Light ,;-)
