That’s the word from reporter Carol Motsinger, who with photographer Erin Brethauer, have been chronicling the start-up of White Duck Taco restaurant for weeks now. From the their blog:
It’s real. It’s happening.
Just ask the seven people Laura Reuss and Ben Mixson just hired to be dishwashers, prep cooks or work the counter. Just look at all the green stickers boldly exclaiming that the couple have all the necessary permits needed to open very, very soon.
The spreadsheet of equipment needed, forms to fill out can be retired. But the work is really just about to begin for Ruess and Mixson.
