Ate dinner next to Jennifer Carpenter and the Avett Brothers on Saturday at Edisons in Grove Park Inn. Sorry, OMNI Grove Park Inn. A friend in our party was a huge Dexter fan, and Jennifer was nice enough to pose for a picture with her. I hear they were at Pack’s Tavern the night before.
Just in case: Carpenter was part of the hit Showtime show Dexter, which ended last year, and y’all know who the Avetts are.
Carpenter and Seth Avett were spotted shopping in Biltmore Village just before Christmas. And back in November, the two were spotted at a concert at the Lexington Avenue Brewery and about town.

I’ve met the two of them and chatted with Seth several times… he stops in City Bakery often for a chocolate croissant and coffee. Such a genuine guy.
