Here’s the info, from loyal reader Rebecca Williams:
I hope you attend the community arts and development panel on Wednesday September 29th at 3:00 pm that Lise Kloeppel and I are hosting at UNCA at the Laurel Forum in Karpen Hall. A panel of 9 artists and activists from the Asheville area will be discussing their work for community cultural development and the role that the arts can play in social change. Featured speakers include Kitty Love from Arts 2 people, Bob White from the Pisgah View Peace Garden, DeWayne Barton from Go! Green Opportunities and Norma Brown from Children First Emma Family Resource Center. And many more!

What is so positive about this? Nothing, You say progress but its really just status quo same ol samle ol that talk at hatch and tedx like they are a big deal. When in reality its just a reason for a couple of people to get together and say "Look How progressive I am" when really they are not.
Well being of others LOL like any of that benefited any one but a few.

I am glad you represent the nihilistic/fatalistic perspective in all programs/projects/attempts to better the community. Not that I believe you have any grounding to make your statement, but I definitely respect your right to deride anything that promotes the well-being of others. You are the lone wolf crying for transparency. For every positive, there must be the representative of the negative.
