Anthrax suspect has family in WNC

WLOSer Sherrill Barber got the scoop on the apparent suicide of a scientist being questioned about letters laced with anthrax that were sent out following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. As all roads lead to Asheville, it turns out that the scientist has family in Henderson County.

Sherrill knocked on doors and got a statement from family members. He also did a good job of using a CNN clip of one of their reporters talking to a brother of the scientist — it was unclear to me if that brother was one of he family members who live here. But all in all, a solid report.
