From the FB page for Ambrozia Bar & Bistro:

Ambrozia is a North Asheville neighborhood bistro, looking to open in early April 2013. We will feature modern American cuisine, with an ever changing menu based on what is fresh and available from local farmers. The bar will focus on unique cocktails, local beers and a wide selection of wines.

Look for it at 1020 Merrimon Avenue in the former Artisan Catering & Deli location near the Fresh Market.

Does anyone else think that Ambrozia with a Z is perhaps one of the worst names they’ve ever heard?

Maybe they meant to call it amBROZia.

It’s a New Mexico thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zia_people. The owner is a transplant. The name comes from a previous restaurant in Albuquerque.
