The Asheville 48HFP 2012 winners were announced last night at the “Best of 2012” Screening and Awards Ceremony. Congratulations to everyone who participated this year. Here’s the rundown.

Best Film: “Hickory Dickory Dock” by Out of State Bank (Hickory Dickory Dock also took best musical score and best direction)

Audience Award Winner: Group A, “Malk” by Team Long Shot (Malk also won best use of genre)

Audience Award Winner: Group B, “Dave’s Spirit Quest” by #heatstressinsomniaemotionalbreakdown (Dave’s Spirit Quest also took Best Actor for Will Arledge as consultant Harold Pineda)

Best Use of Character: “Trip” by More Chi Black Mountain
Best Use of Prop: “The Touch” by Blue Ridge Community College
Best Use of Line of Dialogue: “The Secret Life of Bérenice” by Team UNCA
Best Use of Genre: “Malk” by Team Long Shot
Best Costumes: Carrie Murray for “The Dark Dealer” by WPCC
Best Make-up: Raina Lee Scott for “Sleepyhead” by All Around Artsy
