As we stated last month, Ashvegas wants to reward you, dear readers, for all your clicks and love you’ve shown this year. So I’ve devised a little contest for you.
It’s a scavenger hunt of sorts. Here’s how it works:
I’ll be placing 4×6 prints of photos you’ve seen right here on this web site around town. Each photo is signed “Ashvegas” on the front and tagged with a key word on the back. You’ll also find my e-mail address (sweetashvegas@hotmail.com). All you need to do is find the photo, e-mail me the correct key word and you win. Easy, huh? Send me your mailing address and I’ll zip your gift right off.
So how will you find the photos? I’ll leave you hints, lovelies. I’ve placed three photos out and about. The first person to e-mail me one of the three correct key words will received $10 in Best Buy gift certificates and a free pass to the Asheville Art Museum. Second and third place winners will receive a 4×6 Ashvegas photo and a bumper sticker.
First clue
I have a cosmic vision for the first photo. It’s a vision of my boys, the Avetts. Damn they rock. They rock a block. In fact, they could rock the punk off Lexington-fracking-Avenue.
Second clue
There once was a barrel house mama so fair
She’d play guitar all day without care
If she needed to eat
She’d stomp her feet
And all the boys would swarm the Earth Fare.
Third clue
You ever see that pink scooter around downtown? You know, that bright pink scooter? I always see it parked in front of a certain salon. In fact, I think it’s parked there right now. Where is that place?…
