Yacht Rock Revival at Salvage Station, more upcoming Asheville shows

Yacht Rock Revival starring the Yacht Rock Revue returns to the Salvage Station on Sunday, Aug. 26. (Get Yacht Rock Revival tickets here.)

Special guests include Peter Beckett of Player, Elliot Lurie of Looking Glass and Albert Bouchard of Blue Oyster Cult.

The Atlanta-based crew combines tribute band greatness with some comedy troupe flair in a mash-up that has fans singing along to some of the biggest soft rock hits from the 1970s and ’80s. It’s cheesy, classic fun.

Here’s a quick look at other upcoming and just announced Asheville shows to be aware of:

-Zoso, The Ultimate Led Zepplin Experience

Wednesday, Aug. 29, doors at 8 p.m., show at 9 p.m.

-The Snozzberries Presents: A Psychedelic Circus
Asheville Music Hall
Friday, Aug. 31, doors at 9 p.m. and show at 10 p.m.

-Somewhat Petty, A Tom Petty Tribute Band
Ambrose West
Saturday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m.

-An Intimate Evening with Sarah McLachlan
US Cellular Center arena
Saturday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m.
This concert is a benefit hosted by the Green Side Up Foundation to support local pediatric cancer patients in the Asheville area. Artist bio attached.

-Bob Dylan And His Band
Thomas Wolfe Auditorium
Friday, November 2 at 8 p.m.

    for this coming Sun., 8/26. What time? How long is the show?
    Where’s the Salvage Station?

      Sure. Show is listed at 7-10 p.m. The Salvage Station is located at 466 Riverside Drive, Asheville.
